Pub Trail Visits Castle Rock Brewery

Updated on12th June 2025

In May, members of the Pub Trail group started their trail a little differently, with a tour around Nottingham’s own Castle Rock Brewery. The tour around the plant, covered the entire brewing process. We were able to touch, taste and smell the malted barley, hops and other base ingredients and then follow step by step how these are transformed into the renowned Castle Rock brews, such as Harvest Pale, Elsie Mo and many others. After the tour we were able to have a go at pulling our own pints, before having a lovely lunch in the VAT & Fiddle and of course, sampling the Castle Rock brews.
