Knitting for good causes, eg Blankets and hats for premature babies; Hats & scarves for homeless; Blankets and clothes for places in need overseas.
We are also able to use up oddments of wool by knitting 6 inch squares which are later sewn together to make a “patchwork” style blanket. Therefore, if you prefer to sew or crochet – rather than to knit – your talents are needed in this direction. We are a friendly group and a good chat, a cup of tea and a biscuit are guaranteed at our meetings. We look forward to greeting you there!
